I color coded the books on my DIY Shelving Unit to mix up the look and inject a little bit of color into this space.
I also updated the entryway with these gorgeous stools from Target! I hit the jackpot when I found out a local store got these back in stock last week, so I drove out and picked them up. Since our apartment is small and we love to entertain, stools like these are perfect for extra seating when guests come over.
This vintage washstand replaced my old brass bar cart, which was neither big enough nor sturdy enough for this space. I cleaned up the marble, ripped off a chipped piece of veneer, and touched it up with Restore-A-Finish and it’s looking great!
Usually, I don’t have luck on Craigslist in this area, but I hit the jackpot again with this coffee table. Our old one was too large for our new sectional sofa that’s being delivered, and I just didn’t like it anymore. This one was for sale in our neighborhood! Just a short walk and an Uber ride home and it was mine.
The Designer’s Guild Orangerie pillow is from my friend Hollie of Stuck on Hue. She’s graciously offering 10% off her amazing selection of pillows from now until May 14th with code BURLAPORC10!
I completely revamped the gallery wall with prints from Artfully Walls. They have the best selection! The gorgeous blue abstract in the center is from Mandy Fitzgerald, and is called “Underwater Sunlight”.
I kept these coral stools (which originally lived under my entry table) in this space for now until our sectional arrives. They’re great for seating extra guests, and also for concealing not so stealthy kitty cats.
