Currently Coveting: Alabaster Lamps

Sometimes I become obsessed with a design trend without even realizing it. Even though my style and tastes vary, I notice similar things that pop up in images or magazines that I love. One of those things lately has been alabaster lamps. This gypsum rock is similar to white marble, but is lighter and often more deeply veined. The shade of alabaster can vary, too, from a creamy off-white to a bright white. I specifically love the classic Grecian urn shaped lamps, but I'm also drawn to the more modern cylindrical ones as well!

Love a pair with a mirrored console and Pagoda mirror!

So classic it even works in rustic interiors.

Love the modern stacked lamp in this neutral tonal room.

If you're in the market for some alabaster lamps for yourself, here are a few that are currently out there that I love!

They can be quite pricey, so remember to check Ebay and Etsy as well! Here are two that I found for a great price.

  6. Well I must be extremely late to the party because I don't think I've ever even seen a lamp like this!! They're really cool looking - I like the "raw" look version, but the others all have beautiful shapes too.

I love your comments like I love a glass of red wine, a slow Van Morrison song, and freshly swiffered floors...which is, like, a lot.
